Scott developed an interest in music at a very young age and began learning to play various instruments in his early teens. After gaining a basic grasp of guitar, piano, bass and drums, Scott quickly began writing and recording his own music.
Though he spent many years writing songs, singing and playing in various bands, it wasn't until 2004 that Scott first began composing for television. Since that time, his music has been used in shows such as: Snapped, Murder Comes to Town, American Idol, Say Yes to The Dress (Atlanta), So You Think You Can Dance?, and many other shows. Scott has also had the opportunity to work on many commercial spots. He has performed audio editing/mixing, sound design and music composition (one or more of these elements) for commercials by brands such as: Farm Bureau of TN, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Bristol Motor Speedway, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Jackson Mountain Homes, McDonalds, Rush Fitness....and several other brands.
Aside form the scoring work, Scott still spends plenty of time, writing, recording and producing songs. Scott, writes, records, produces, edits, mixes and masters all styles of music from his home studio.
